It has been absolutely crazy here! We went skiing yesterday at Breckenridge. It was -30 with wind chill, the chairlift ride was brutal, but the conditions were excellent. We had a really fun time on powder stashes, trees, bumps, etc. It was great. We had to go in at one point to warm up and we only skied for 4 hours, but the terrain in Colorado is always worth toughing out the harsh weather for. Our drive home was so nuts because the wind was blowing so hard while it was snowing that it was causing a white out effect. The fact that it is a holiday week, it is crowded everywhere - lift lines, traffic, etc. while we were trying to drive home from Breck, what normally would take 20 minutes took us 2 hours! The visibility was so bad that you couldn't see 
the road at all most of the time. You couldn't see out your windshield to the end of your vehicle.
Jenner tried to drive up last night to hang out, but he couldn't get here with how bad the roads were. Plus he had a 3 hour drive to start with. I just talked to him and he is on his way up today around noon. We had some friends that tried to drive up last night as well from Denver and they couldn't make it because highway 70 was closed and is still closed this morning. There were people that were trapped in Summit County and had to spend the night at the local rec center. We were watching the news and they showed people sleeping all over the gym floor. We are so lucky to have a place up here!
We had a fun night, once we got home, Sue and Stuart joined up with us, (They left early enough to miss all of the mayhem) we cooked a really nice dinner and just hung out, drank wine and talked. It was really nice. It was Sue, Stuart, Suzette, Mike, Kimi and I. I love hanging out with these guys. I miss them so much. I really think that my friends in
Colorado are my closest friends that I will always have in my life. We are talking about some really fun trips to take together in the near future. My friend Kimi is half Japanese and has family in Japan and wants to have all of us take a trip out there in the spring of '09. That is definitely something to look forward to. 
Okay, we are headed out now into the brutal weather again to get some more powder. Tonight is New Years Eve and we are expecting more people to arrive tonight. This should be a really fun time. I will tell you all about it tomorrow!
